Tap on the circle with three dots in the top right corner and choose Select.

Tap the circle on the left of each document to select it.

To select multiple scans, tap two documents simultaneously, and add any needed documents to your selection by tapping then.
Android
Long press on a document to enable the multiple selection feature and tap to select other documents.
