Where are my documents stored?
By default, your documents are only stored on your device.
Documents are only stored on your phone unless you explicitly choose to have them exported or saved elsewhere.
Your documents can be backed up and/or exported elsewhere, but one of the following actions is required:
- Creating a Genius Cloud account: your scans will be backed up, automatically synchronized between your devices, and accessible in your Genius Cloud account. This requires a Genius Scan Ultra subscription.
- Exporting your scans to third-party services like Dropbox – either manually or automatically.
- Making secure backups of your phone (read these tutorials for iOS backups - read more about Apple's security policy - and Android backups).
